So over here at ARTM we have been concocting numerous projects over the summer and are finally on the last leg. I am off to Las Vegas to check out some of streetwear's best companies over at the Magic Tradeshow but come next week we will be hitting the ground running. A few things to look out for:

We recieved a batch of tees and hoodies but have to make a few changes to get them just right so please stand by...you will not be disappointed.

So if you don't know of them already, here is a little summary:
Award Tour is run by Phil Annand, a Rutgers University student, and after only a handful of seasons, they have managed to create an incredible movement within the streetwear community. The combination of his well written and unique-topic blog, incredible designs and carefully planned brand development strategy, Phil has found himself at the forefront of the industry.
Although Award Tour is gaining ground, you might have a hard time finding a piece of it for yourself. They are produced in limited runs and rarely re-stocked. Keep an eye out for this guy because you will probably be hearing from him soon. Here is a quick look at their most recent lookbook called BORN TO RUN!

If you have been reading the blog for the past few weeks you know all about Nero, and for good reason, but he comes through again here supporting Airtime in his new video 'Funkorama'. It was shot yesterday and will release in a few weeks. With Mike Waxx at the helm I know it will not disappoint. Look out for a few tracks from Nero on the up and coming Pwelbs.com x Airtime mixtape as well. WIsh I could share now but you'll just have to wait.

After a weekend with the family in Montana things are starting to pick up and deadlines are soon approaching. Sneaker Pimps is in about 2 weeks, the mixtape release is soon to follow, and we still are going to be shooting our lookbook and releasing a new season of goodness in the mean time. Over the past few months we have been working on a project that is stacking up to be an incredible feat. With Pwelbs at the helm, we have been on a mission to compile a mixtape featuring some of the best hip hop out right now from around the country. I'm not talking about hip hop you hear on the radio. I'm talking about real, from the soul hip hop that you can't help but play on repeat.
Now I can't spill all the goodness yet but in the mean time tell your friends, tell your teachers, your milk man, your grandma, matter of fact anyone, that something big is coming from The Airtime Collection and in a few weeks you will not be disappointed.
Oh and here's a little Edward Murrow for the interim. Get familiar with this guy. You will be seeing a lot of him.

Ok. If you appreciate good hip hop and miss that jazz/funk, old-school vibe that only few could master, then you have no excuse not to download this album. Nero is still young and full of potential but he comes off on this CD like he's been around the scene since '91. Haven't stopped listening to this since I got it. Damn!
